Different From The Others

Not enough time is often a factor for me when it comes to getting things completed before they are due.  I know so many of you out there can relate. So when there are challenges I really want to partake in, and I don't have enough time to complete each one individually, I combine them, and in the case of this one, I Wendified it! This time I am combining (1) Unruly Paper Arts Reader Art Quest 2 of "Marvelous Mermaids", (2) Studio L3's Compendium of Curiosities II Challenge of using Tim's "Guilded Kraft Glassine" technique, which is also being sponsored by the Funkie Junkie Boutique this time, and (3) Simon Says Stamp & Show's challenge of "Hey Girl". Phew...that was a mouthful of challenges.
Here is the background. All the images are Wendy's stamped in Archivals, and then Salty Ocean Distress Ink was added along with Perfect Pearls in Interference ( I love this stuff!!!). I wish you could see the wonderful sheen they give. Bubbles were made with Glossy Accents.
I combined two of Wendy's stamps to make the mermaid except that I elongated the tail. I just kept stamping extra hair for a wonderful coif! I colored her with Distress Markers and then covered her tail with Guilded Kraft Glassine scales.  She needed some embellishment so I gave her a Liquid Pearl treatment, and of course a crown.

From My Stash- crown, fibers

I hope your hands get creatively dirty soon!
