I have always loved the Harry Potter movies, but I am not much of a reader, as I just don't have the time. But, strange even to myself, I decided I would read the first book and see what the hype was all about. It had me by chapter one, and I read all 7 books last summer...all 7! That's huge for me! After that, I longed for more, and it's so true in this case, the books are a thousand times better than the movies, and the movies are pretty great! So, when I saw the J.K. Rowling quote on Artistic Outpost's new release from March 2012, Quote & Quoteables, it was a must for me to create something around it. That something is the little girl holding a butterfly net from the Flower Market set, only I changed it up. I turned the net into a hat by cutting it off the stick, which is now a wand. The butterflies are also from this set, but I used them solely. The stars are from the Quote & Quoteables set as well. I am absolutely in love with this tag, and I don't say that too often...do I???
I am submitting this tag to Artistic Outpost's July Referral Program of "Anything Goes", and to the Blogger's Challenge of "Say It With Words".
I hope your hands get creatively dirty soon!
Какой чудесный ярлык!!! По-настоящему волшебный! Очень красиво!
ReplyDeleteWow! 'Tagus Marvelosum!' I love this tag Anita, I adore how you used the stamps, brilliant! Beautiful colour scheme too xx
ReplyDeleteWoW! Where to begin! The background of this tag is pure magic with the soft blended colours and the stars and butterflies. That is such a great sentiment and I love how you adapted the little girl stamp to fit the Harry Potter theme...brilliant. The distressing and your ribbon trim make this tag appear like a long lost treasure. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteAwecome creation, love all details coloring and the quote, that is true we need magic.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous tag Anita! Love the story you're created! Very magical!
ReplyDeleteOooh, such a gorgeous tag!! The little girl would look perfectly at home in Hogwarts & the background is beautiful. I'm glad you read the HP books, they are so much better than the films - and the films are very good.
ReplyDeleteA very magical tag, so wonderful.
