Handle With Care Heart Card

Today I have an all occasion card (even Valentine's or Get Well) using the heart stamp from Stamper's Anonymous Tim Holtz  Eclectic Elements and a few other Stamp Sets. I've been in the stamping mood lately and I just love this heart image. It was very fast and super simple to make.
I stamped the heart image 3 times...twice on Specialty Stamping Paper from Ranger (one cut out for layering), and once on post it note for a mask. I stamped the horn image from The Professor set, once on SSP and on post it note...all using Black Soot Archival.  I cut out the post it note images and used them to mask for the next part.
Using Vintage Photo Archival, I stamped the gears images from Inventor 7 and Dapper for the background.
I stamped the sentiment and highlight line image in Black Soot and used Clear Embossing Powder over them.
I used good ol' Distress Ink to watercolor in some of the images in the background and both images in the foreground. I inked over the background and flicked water over it. I also added a light coat of the Tim's Collage Medium in Crazing over the heart for a little texture and protection. I decided the card needed a bit more, so I used a design from my sewing machine to stitch down the middle of the card to mimic the lines from a heart monitor...from a slow beat to a regular one. Strange I know, but I love the look of it.  Then came a lot of cardstock mounting and paper distressing.

Splat Island Golf Green Father's Day Card

And here is my second Father's Day card...this one is for the hubs...the golfer in my life! Too bad I can't add two tickets to where ever this fab place is, and it's probably the hardest green on the planet! I think Jack Nicklaus would be proud! On this one, I used Tim's Sizzix Splat Thinlit in a totally different way, as well as the Beach Sidekick Order. The Splat totally spoke golf to me the first time I saw it on his FB Live. I can never have enough golf goods in my stash since my household is full of golfers. I had way too much making this one, and it came together fast. I know the hubs will love this card.
I die cut the Splat with Kraft Core Nostalgic Cardstock, and the ocean is Metallic Jewel Cardstock.
Aren't the Pennants from Tim and Stamper's Anonymous super fun?!! So many uses. I stamped the banner in Barn Door Archival from Ranger onto Specialty Stamping Paper. The #1 and dad sentiment is from a Pegz set. I used the smallest circle punch for the golf ball.
Using the mini Texture Fade from the Beach Sidekick Order, I embossed with it many times onto the blue metallic cardstock. It created some flat spots since I embossed so many times, but that mostly gets covered up. I didn't have a larger folder with me, so I had to make due. Sadly, I didn't have any sand paper with me to rough up the raised designs...go figure! I also embossed the golf ball with the Dot Matrix Fade. I hand cut a pole for the flag, and die cut all the tiny palms with more Nostalgic Cardstock. I also hand cut a tee from SSP and inked over it with Barn Door, cut a mound for the tee box on the mainland, and made a slit in it for the tee to slip into.
The golf green island, palms, and sun got a thin coating of Distress Glitter with the Glitter Duster...love that thing.

The Wacky Professor Father's Day Card

Hello All! Sorry it's been so long...the Summer months keep me lazy...sort of anyway. I will try to visit everyone soon. Today, I have the first of two Father's Day cards...this one a wacky Steampunk type card made for my FIL, full of stamps from Tim Holtz and Stamper's Anonymous...namely The Professor, and lots of new Tim Archival Ink from Ranger...oh and his great new Voltage Sizzix Die too. Phew...a lot went into this card!!!  I love The Professor stamp set, and there are so many images to keep you creating. The vintage style makes me happy...so happy I had to add many more images from other vintage looking sets. Hope you like, but more importantly I hope the FIL likes it.
I'm on the road so time and products are light, so I only have three step out photos. I started by stamping images from The Professor and Noble Gent sets, using Archival Ink onto Distress Heavystock. I stamped over the images many times using different colors of ink for a layered effect. I messed up on the second briefcase, so I stamped another...thank goodness for the Stamping Platform. I fussy cut all the images out...ugh...and stacked them up. I made the Professor into a bust, as I ran out of room on my card...typical...and stamped his face again, cutting out the goggles, nose, and mustache, for a 3D layer.
I put together the Voltage meter, but I added stamping to it from The Professor, and then added sides and a top to it, so it would become a box...one that collects data and spits out an informational ticket! Ha...it could happen!!! I made the ticket from a Label Sticker and added stamping to it with Pegz Stamps.
Then came lots more stamping using four more sets. The background was extra busy, but I like it. The important thing is, I stamped the zig zag thing...a cranking lift jack thingy now...hopefully to give the illusion that the wacky Professor rises from his hat and into the sky. Hey...it seriously could happen!!! Then I added the rest of my pieces on.
