Challenge number sixteen is all about
Layered Stencils: Embossing. I know none of you ever get tired of using those stencils! I hope you can play along on this challenge so you can win some amazing fabulous prizes donated by the ever generous
Tim and Mario, and this challenge's sponsor,
The Funkie Junkie Boutique!!! Thank you sponsors for your generosity! You will have two weeks to complete this challenge and link it up to the CC3Challenge site, and you can carefully read all the rules
here. Please take the time to visit every member of the Curiosity Crew (See below.) for not only some gorgeous stenciled inspiration, but for a chance to win some extra goodies!
Gobble gobble!!! It's almost Thanksgiving time, so I decided to make a card for my In-Laws since we won't be with them for the holiday. The technique is a little hard to see so I took lots of photos so hopefully you can.

I wanted a turkey die, but there's not one, SOOOO I made my own...sort of. I die cut Tim's Sizzix Mini Feather Quill and the Mini Mirror. It you flip the mirror upside down, I see a turkey body! DON'T YOU?!!! He he he!!! Ok, so it's sort of cheesy, but I love it! Never be afraid of using your dies for totally different things than what they are originally for. They cost you money, so use them up!!! |
|
So then I did the technique on the make shift turkey! I also used an old Maya Road transparency to use as part of his body. |
|
Gobble gobble gobble!!! I gave him a face! |
|
I stamped on a background for my card, and then used the technique again. |
|
Inking and words finished up this very simple card. |
Thanks for all the comments and support, and thanks for joining the CC3Challenges!!!
