Time For A Pocket Watch

This week at StudioL3's Compendium Of Curiosities II Challenge, the goal was "pocket watches". How cool are these pieces Tim designed?!? And, if working with these fab objects were not enough, this challenge is also being sponsored by Simon Says Stamp!
Look closely at the pocket watch image. Since I had so many copies of my Mother's picture, I used one here. You might see them a lot! I originally was going to send this to my Dad for Father's Day, but I love it so much that I think I might keep it! How rude...right?!?
I am also submitting this tag to The Stamp Man's Challenge of "Time or Travel", and Simon Says Stamp & Show's challenge of "Anything Goes".
To create this splatter effect, I went outside, sprayed the Color Wash in the air, and waved my tag threw the mist. Fun!
I embossed the tag with Tim's Pocket Watch Texture Fade, then inked the raised images with Walnut Stain Distress Ink, then misted a tiny bit with water.
Since denim is still lying on my craft table, I decided to use it again on this tag. I tend to use things over and over because they are out and I am lazy! I used a hinge part to secure this denim piece to the hole of the tag.
I adhered more denim on the tag to act as a pocket for a gift card holder. I distressed the edges of the denim to grunge it up some. 
An embellished kraft coin envelope will hold a gift card.

    Unbelievable! Every single detail makes me shake my head in awe. I so love the pic of your mom in the watch. That's puts the tag into stupendous-land. I wouldn't give this up either. Tell your dad he has visiting rights :) Thanks once again for an inspiring project.

    Amazing! I think it would have been more fun to spray the mist in the air in your STUDIO and then wave the tag thru it! And I really think you should give this to your dad.

    I love this piece it's so creative and full of textural elements! It's one of those things that you really want to touch even if you shouldn't. Wonderful composition too! Very clever.

    How fabulous is this - the sleek silver watch and denim fabric are a great match! It's a lovely creation - love the texture on the flowers too - I end keeping lots of my pieces...and still talk to them too!
