When I first read the challenge instructions, and saw that we were to use 10, I knew instantly that I would use this card that I created for Artistic Outpost a few months ago, because I distinctly remembered counting 10 of these pencils as I was stamping them.  I haven't shown this card yet, so I thought this would be perfect. The photo is an original I picked up somewhere along the creative way. I wonder who she is.
Lucille Ball was hilarious! She was a comedic legend and a real class act. I Love Lucy was my favorite show as a child...they just don't make them like they used to. I love this quote from her, and AO nailed it by including it as well as so many other great quotes on their new release stamp set from March, Quotes & Quoteables. The other fabulously vintage images are on the other new release set from March as well,  Secretary Pool...appropriate name, and I just love the phone and typewriter image!
I adhered the G45 paper to a kraft card and cut one side a little longer to use as the flap.
I stamped the letter head image on the front of the card in Adirondack Earthtones Latte.
I stamped the phone in Jet Black Archival, and all the others in Adirondack Earthtones Pesto. I traced over the sentiment in Glaze Pens for added depth, as well as the pencil tops.

This is the back.

  11. Anita, you have hit another home run on this card! I just love your style and your sense of composition. I think your elements really do pull this card together! I love how you added 10 pencils with the note at the top: jot this down. I think the telephone helps add a vintage feel, too. And that photo is the icing on the preverbal cake! LOVE it! The pattern paper is gorgeous without distracting. Very beautiful creation! and TFS. I know folks will be inspired by this beauty!
