I have been blogging about 10 1/2 months (Blogiversary is soon!) now, and I have never let a week go by without posting. I have a two good reasons though. As you can see, I've changed up the blog some. That html language stuff and editing my pictures to fit the blog can be hard business, but I hope you like the changes. I've also been busy closing out last year for our taxes...yuck! I am super late getting to that game, but can you blame me?!?
However, I am waaayyy early in finishing these ATC's for the All Things Tim Yahoo Group Monthly ATC Swap of "Fun Halloween or Fall". They are not due until September 20th, but since they qualified for a few challenges I figured now is the best time.
Linda at Studio L3 has chosen "Kraft Resist" as the technique for Compendium of Curiosities II Challenge, that we are to do this week from Tim's book. Hels at Ink On My Fingers has chosen "Green" as the challenge for Sunday Stamper. And, The Blogger's Challenge is "Black, White, & A Splash Of Color".
After I finished doing Tim's technique on this music notes Kraft Resist, I embossed the skeleton. I think he is dancing...dancing to the Monster Mash. |
I distressed the edges of the ATC and inked them in Dusty Concord. I adhered it to a black piece of cardstock that I doodled on with a white pen. I attached the sentiment to finish it off. |
From My Stash: black cardstock
I hope your hands get creatively dirty soon!
Wow, that is one awesome ATC!

ReplyDeleteNow I've got that Bobby Boris Pickett song in my head, thankyouverymuch. NOT!!! Mr Skeleton is gettin his groove thang on, isn't he? Such a fun and green tag. Very cool.

ReplyDeleteFabbitydabbitydoodles! (like me new word?) LOVE your skelington art... spooktastic... thanks for joining in with the Sunday Stamper x
ReplyDeleteLove the new look of the blog. These are wonderful atcs. So fun how the dancing skeleton goes with that sentiment. Cool to use the one stamp over the other, too. Your blog always makes me smile :)
ReplyDeleteThat sure is a great splash of color! Love the white linter/MM title, too. Good luck with all the blog changes... it's a lot of work 'behind the scenes!'
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, love the Halloween theme.
ReplyDeleteThey're so great, Anita! And he's so clearly dancing - and what else could it possibly be to (unless it's Dem Bones, Dem Bones!?!) than the Monster Mash? The b&w with that intense green is fab, and the tiny blush of Dusty Concord is perfection on the sentiment - great!

wow! Your work is gorgeous as always!
ReplyDeleteLove your work ♥
Hugs, Anne
Very cool! I love the green background...it makes the white skeleton pop right off the card! And I really like how you over stamped the sentiment on the "31".
ReplyDeleteFirst of I really like what you've done with the place, uhh I mean blog. I recognize the A piece in the header. Such a incredible piece! And those ATC's you've made in this post are stunning! Love the green color you've used, not really traditional for fall or halloween, and that's why I like it even more :). Hugs, Sandra
ReplyDeleteFab ATC's! Love the added sentiment! Thanks for playing along with the Bloggers Challenge!
ReplyDeleteThoroughly inspired as ever Anita. Your new blog look is just perfect. Love the header, love the link buttons, love the background. Man you are SO talented. Hugs, Buttons x
