I found this the other day in my stash of cards. It's one of the last ones I made while a Guest Designer for Artistic Outpost for the Kudzu Kafe plate, and I never blogged about it. It's a little different for me, as it's very clean and simple, but that is the point of it...it's a gift to be simple!

Hi Anita, I love how you created the blue and white stripes, in patterns, which makes your card look anything but simple but I do like the clean lines and the structure. Great image and words too. It's nice to be versatile.....Crafty hugs, Anne x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous purity of the blue and white is so perfect with the clean, sharp squares. Love the directness of this - it is indeed a gift!

Love the design - great use of the ticking stamp! Thanks for playing along with us at Artistic Outpost!
ReplyDeleteMaybe is not really your style but it is still gorgeous!

Love the blue and white ticking as the background...and how you've varied the orientation of the stripes. Blue and white ticking says summer to me as well as vintage simpler times. The matting around the image and words is so striking and a wonderful contrast to the blue. The use of the plate and the washers add so much to the vintage look. Maybe all of the parts came from the General Store...along with the penny candy :)
ReplyDeleteSo different, love it. the background is fab - looks like it's just come from a laundry. Works so well with the arrangement of the image/sentiments. Hugs, Buttons x
ReplyDeleteJust a beautiful card.
