Stamper's Anonymous Christmas 2020 - Winterscape Toile Card

Hi everyone! Thanks so much for all the love on my last post! This is my last Christmas CARD post using the new stamps and stencils from Tim Holtz and Stamper's Anonymous from the LIVE, and it is also a favorite of mine. I love Toile, and this Winterscape Stamp Set has the perfect winter toile images. Seriously, perfect! I LOVE how this card turned out. Enjoy!

Cut blue cardstock to 6 1/4 x 6 1/4 inches and place in the large stamp platform. Arrange all images from Winterscape except the snow, onto the card even placed. Secure to platform. Stamp the images in Jet Black Archival. It will take several stampings to get all the images dark enough, therefore, the platform is essential. Ink the edges in Gathered Twigs. Dry with a heat tool.

Scribble Picket Fence Distress Crayon on the silicon mat, and pick up with a water brush, and color in all the snow areas on each stamp image. It will look best if colored in again after drying naturally. Dry with a heat tool.

Using the sentiment 'Greetings of the Season', stamp in Jet Black on kraft cardstock and heat emboss in Gold Embossing Powder.

Take the snow stamp from Winterscape and lightly stamp the snow over each image and around it using Picket Fence Distress Ink and just holding the stamp in your hand. Dry completely with a heat tool. Use two sided tape to hold the middle of the ribbon to the card. Stitch around the card and over the ribbon using white thread to completely secure it.

Cut gold cardstock to 6 3/8 x 6 3/8 inches. Cut kraft card base to 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches. (NOTE: I only had 12 x 12 paper and that was not going to work, so I used kraft posterboard that I had on hand.) Adhere the gold on the kraft, and ink the edges of the kraft in Gathered Twigs. Adhere the toile card onto the gold. Cut around the sentiment, and ink the edges in Gathered Twigs, and adhere to ribbon of card using Collage Medium.

  2. Love the effect of just the white on the Blue card. Did it take long to do all the coloring? Once you start really looking at it, there is quite a bit to color in....love it!
