Curly Toe Stocking Ornaments

I'm back! Today, I have a two ornaments made for an exchange which I love to do! I used lots of Tim Holtz and Ranger goodies, and to create the curly toe I altered and combined Sizzix dies...check it out!
I die cut the stockings from Tim's Stocking Stuffer Bigz Die and Tidings Stash.
I die cut the Twisted Edge pieces and used only one of the negative swirl parts that would fit the toe of the stocking best. I glued them together, and then traced them onto the paper I would use for the toe and then cut them out. It didn't take long at all.
I die cut the Mixed Media Harlequin on the stockings, and then turned it over and matched it up with the other die cut pieces...a perfect fit FYI in case you want to try that.
I die cut several stocking with cardstock and stacked them up, glued them together, and made an extra thick stocking. I painted the backs and sides with Aged Mahogany. All the edges were inked in Black Soot.
I also layered the candy canes, and painted them with Picket Fence and Aged Mahogany. I edged the stripes with Pearls Liquid Pearls.
I added flowers and lace for the topper and lots of ribbon, then came Stickles and Liquid Pearls and jingle brads.

I'll be back again soon. You guys are gonna be sick of me before Christmas even comes...sorry! Until then, happy menu shopping and food prepping for the big day!
