Hello there everyone! Today, I have another card (the third one) that I made for the Ranger Ink booth at Creativation this year using a fan fav product in some new colors, Stickles. Oh how we love the sparkle and glitz that only Stickles can do! Hope you enjoy this short post.
I embossed a piece of Pewter Metallic Kraft Stock with the Dotted Bullseye Texture Fade from Tim Holtz Idea-ology and Sizzix, and all die cut the circle from his Stitched Circles Thinlets. Then I added adhesive strips to all the cardstock ready for matting... the embossed cardstock to Heavystock and then to a Black Cardstock Surfaces base from Ranger. |
I filled in and outlined the circles and dots with the three colors of Stickles, and let that dry. |
Using the Paper Doll, I adorned her with the same colors of Stickles. I selected the words I wanted from Tim's Clippings, and added those on top of Dina Wakley Washi Tape that was matted to more layered cardstock. Then I added more washi to the bottom of the card and layered on all my elements with more adhesive and foam tape. It is such a simple card to make. |

ReplyDeleteStunner alert! I think this card is so beautiful! I love your idea of adding the stickles to the embossed pattern and then as details for the paper doll, it’s awesome! I can just envision the shimmer and shine from the beautiful colors. What a fantastic card, I am sure it was a favorite at the show! Thanks for sharing xx
ReplyDeleteOh my word - I can't imagine the patience it must have required to create all those dotty decorative circles in the background - but it looks so cool. And I just love her polka dot dress - that's such fun!
