Hi Crafters! Today, I have the first of two cards made with Ranger Stickles, which were in their booth at Creativation this year. It was my favorite card that I made for sure, and the pic does not do it justice. Stickles are a must product for me to have, and they transform the blah to a WOW, and I'm not even a glitter loving kind of girl...well maybe a little. Can you imagine how this would look with no Stickles??? I can't. Hope you like.
I used the Movers and Shapers Cameo Frame from Tim Holtz and Sizzix, to die cut two pieces of blue cardstock, three pieces of cardboard, and an acetate piece. I cut out the centers and top from the cardboard pieces, and glued the three pieces together to make a thick frame, and then I painted the edges of them with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Paint. I cut out the center of one of the blue pieces of cardstock. I embossed the solid piece of blue cardstock with the Bubbles Texture Fade. |
I stamped the octopus and sentiment from Tim and Stamper's Anonymous with Paradise Teal Archival onto Specialty Stamping Paper, and cut them out after they dried. |

I hope your hands get creatively dirty soon!
I love it! I'm sure it is gorgeous in person.
ReplyDeleteI really wish I had seen this in real life now, but sadly I missed this one (how very rude of me!). I absolutely adore the octopus and he looks even better with the stickles on his tentacles! Love the bowl idea too, it looks fantastic... Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh i love this! the stickles make such a perfect touch on this card! now this is the side of water that is pretty!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is fabulous - love the Stickles suckers - that's so clever. My nephew is a marine-life fan and expert and squid/octopus are his favourite creatures so I'm going to send him over for a look next time he's here! So inventive, as always.
