Hello All and Happy Spring! I hope you are feeling the pleasant weather where you are. It's been so hot here already. Since Spring has indeed sprung, I have a card to show you that I made for the
Ranger Ink booth at Creativation this year, using
Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks.
Using Yupo White Paper, I added Pool Alcohol Ink with a cotton ball...with a little Blending Solution added... to the whole surface. Using a cotton ball allows the AI to glide on with less streaks. |
Then I pounced on various green tones of the AI using an Applicator and felt. |
I added a little Honeycomb to the greens too. |
I dripped on the pinks and purples and used Compressed Air to move the AI to form the flowers. I absolutely love this technique and it's so addicting. |
I used a toothpick and detailed paint brush to add more interest to the flowers and field using more AI. |
Using Wendy Vecchi's Lower Case Select a Stencil, I added on the words with her Cactus Flower Archival Ink, onto Translucent Yupo, and cut it out. I mounted the card onto cardstock, and stitched around as well. |
I'll be back again soon with another Alcohol Ink card. Until then, enjoy the season!
