12 Tags of 2016 Remix - August

I'm a bad bad blogger. Sorry everyone...I've been swamped, with designing, making, and kitting classes, doing taxes, and getting kids ready to start school. WHOOP...they are back in school...I am a bad mom for wanting them to go back!!! Shame! And...I've made time for Creative Chemistry 103...what a class!  But, I made this tag and the birthday cards weeks ago, but I've just now been able to blog them. I sure need more time in a day. Anyway, here is my August tag for Tim's 12 Tags of 2016 Remix. I totally forgot what my July, 2013, Brayed Stains tag looked like from way back then (Oh my gosh...how could I forget...seeing it again brought back memories and tears.), and I so do not use the Frameworks Dies enough, so the April, 2014, tag (Also, given to my mother and mother in law...yikes!) was a good reminder to start using them more. That's why this Remix is so helpful to me, and it's great to revisit the old posts to see what was going on in my life back then...like a diary...and rereading comments from those posts is sure inspiring and helpful too. Thank you everyone for all your past comments...I am so blessed. Also, those little pieces inside the Frameworks sure do pack a punch of detail. Both my mother and mother in law, whom the birthday cards were made for, commented how much they liked the individual pieces, and it's always so nice to hear that your work made an impact. Thanks for helping me out there Tim! Thank you truly for all the inspiration over all these years....thanks to all of you actually!
I went with #8 tags from Ranger to make the cards, and added more paper, and of course the numbers for their age. Those two women are really role models, and man oh man have they lived.

Sorry for no step outs this time, but I really stayed with Tim, minus the different colors, a little more stitching, and the addition of the butterflies and flowers. I really love the summery feel, and more importantly the moms loved their cards...the tag is for me! ;0)
I will try and get by to everyone's blogs soon...don't think I've forgotten you. I'll be back soon...I hope!

I hope your hands get creatively dirty soon!

  1. Love this color palette! The background is scrumptious with all those lovely little spatters and dots. I signed up fo CC103 as well, but felt too lousy to do any assignments. It is a great class, though. Take a breath, enjoy a little peace and quiet and remember that I think you are wonderful, Beautiful Soul!
