Hello everyone!!! I'm so glad to be able to blog again! Life has been so crazy for me over the last month with lots of family commitments, and what little time I've had to myself and my crafting I've spent designing classes and kitting for the Autumn season. Soooo, I stayed up very late last night to get this tag done for Tim's August tag for 2015. I'd have to be on my death bed not to get my Tim tag done...seriously! I didn't have time to do step out photos though, but I pretty much followed Tim's instructions, and I have to say that this just might be my favorite tag of this year. I've been waiting to use this little 'cutie' for awhile, and I LOVE her on this tag, and I LOVE the heavy texture...yum! Thanks for the inspiration Tim!
Also...please forgive me for not visiting your blogs lately. I promise to get back on track soon. Now I'm off to try to get my Wendy project done for the Make Art Challenge...yikes!

I hope your hands get creatively dirty soon!
It's so pretty Anita. The wee wings are perfect. I was considering using the handwritten thinlits but I wasn't sure if i would like it. Yep, I do. It's amazing!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable!! Love you colors and the creative way you made the wings!!!
ReplyDeleteas always my friend your piece is AMAZING!! love it lots and lots... take care of you and yours <3 hugs
ReplyDeleteGorgeous tag, super cute image! xx
ReplyDeleteWow, you did a fabulous job with this tag. I really like the girl turned into a butterfly. Nice turquoise too.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous ocean blues in the background and fabulous ephemera - she really is marvellous (I'm still saving her up - haven't found her home yet!). A great take on the August tag.

These are "my" colors...and I love the incredible texture you achieved here. The words are perfect...and such a reflection of who you are as an artist. This is a treasure....glad you found a little time to create, Beautiful Soul!
ReplyDeleteStunning mixed media tag Anita!!!
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Alie :-)
This is beautiful Anita, love everything about it
ReplyDeleteYour take was also great! I wonder if you had the same struggles with the thinlits that I did. They were sort of tough to get out of the tag and then they were so thin that the cool background didn't show through as much as I would have liked. Still a great look overall, but I definitely like Tim's bolder thinlit choice for the words. The found relative is fantastic! Love it all really :)
ReplyDeleteAhhh - love her - love your tag Anita - PERFECT! j.
ReplyDeleteAnita - your tag is absolutely gorgeous! I especially love the little photo - she is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI truly love what you did with this month's tag. My version and your version are total opposites, but isn't that the fun?! I love the teal blue and the scripty die in place of the bold one. Your image and wording are fantastic!!! Wow, so happy I stopped by here!
ReplyDeleteOh I love your take on Tim's tag Anita, the script background is wonderful, as is the background colour. I love the image and ephemera you used too - all so perfect! Anne xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tag, nice that you are back to blogging. I think the summer gets away from us. Time to settle in.
