CC3C - Remnant Rub Resist

Happy happy Saturday!!!  It's time for another challenge, number twenty-four...time flies, in the new Compendium of Curiosities III Challenge!!!  The Curiosity Crew and I absolutely were in awe at all the Collection Folios last time!  You all really inspire me!!!  Thank you for joining in, and of course for all of the comments.
Challenge number twenty-four is using the Remnant Rub Resist technique...a favorite! It will be so fun to see your makes using this!  This is a technique to visit again and again as it's so easy. I hope you can play along on this challenge so you can win some amazing fabulous prizes donated by the ever generous Tim and Mario, and this challenge's sponsor, The Funkie Junkie Boutique!!! Thank you sponsors for your generosity! You will have two weeks to complete this challenge and link it up to the CC3Challenge site, and you can carefully read all the rules here. Please take the time to visit every member of the Curiosity Crew (See below.) for not only some fun and colorful inspiration, but for a chance to win some extra goodies!
A few weeks ago when I was demoing and teaching at The Scrapbook Expo in Grapevine, Texas, I met a follower of mine named Chary Deiling, who also participates in the CC3C. She challenged me to use a picture she had on Pinterest for inspiration for one of my projects. I decided this challenge was perfect to use the colors on her inspiration piece as a basis for my cards, so I looked to Distress Ink Spray Stains to achieve the color.
I love how these came out!
I used a giant Ranger #12 Manila Tag to do the technique, which was super super fast. I used an oldie but goodie from Tim, the Old Pick Up Truck stamp and some brand new stamps too for the whole tag. Then I cut them in half.
I trimmed both pieces down to fit another #12 Tag this time in Black, folded in half. Notice I had the holes of the tags in different positions for each card. FUN!!! I distressed the edges, highlighted the embossed words with a Stabilo Pencil, and then stitched around the tags. The Old Pick Up card is for my Father in Laws birthday, and the other is yet to be given.

This is a super easy, fast, and fun challenge technique! I sure you join in!!!

I hope your hands get creatively dirty soon!
