Guess what I made! Another Valentine!!! Who would have thunk it! This one is for Our Creative Corner's Challenge "Love is in the Air". Sharon Wheet of Designs By Sharon, came up with the challenge and all you have to do is make a St. Valentine's Day paper craft item (card, scrapbook page
layout, 3-D item, or an altered item) using the colors: pink, grey, and kraft. Then add some sparkle, (rhinestones, glitter, metal)
anything that shines, and don't forget to include a heart shape.
This time I decided to get more mechanical and Steampunkish and less traditional with my Valentine.

ReplyDeleteAnita, I think your non traditional valentines is perfect! It shows alot of thought and depth. There is alot of attention to detail, and visual interest. Great work! and welcome to OCC!
ReplyDeleteNow this is really cool, Anita! Love the steampunk/mechanical heart, so very clever! Happy Saturday!
ReplyDeleteДа уж... Злая вещь!
ReplyDeleteHuh? What is evil about this?
DeleteGosh Anita where do I start!!!! This is so untraditional as anyone would imagine a Valentine Card, but for me it is unique and outside the box, which tells me you are one Talented Lady.
ReplyDeleteTo think of putting metal components as embellishments to a heart is not archetypal, one would usually have bling or some other pretty embellishment. However, you have cleverly taken the hardness away from these pieces by adding soft pink tones, Pins and organza.
A great piece of Art.
Smiles:)
Lovely take on a valentines card, very unique and I love it. Great dimension. Tracy x
