Stamper's Anonymous Halloween 2021 - Halloween Doodles Witchy Pumpkin with Moths Spell #31 Card

Hello All and happy Thursday...almost the weekend! Here is another Halloween make using the new stamps from Tim Holtz and Stamper's Anonymous...the Halloween Doodles and Moth Study sets. I had so much fun making this fun card and jumping into fantasy land. Enjoy!

Cut White Heavystock to 4.75 x 6.25 inches for card front. Gather stamp sets and Moon Masks and plan out cards. Place solid Moon Mask in upper left corner. Ink over this and the rest of the paper with Prize Ribbon and Wilted Violet Distress Inks from Ranger with Ink Blending Tools. Keep blending and adding inks until nice deep sky is created.

Keep Moon Mask in place and lightly mist Hocus Pocus Distress Mica Stain over sky area. Add a drop of Picket Fence Distress Paint to silicon mat and spray a tiny bit of water into the paint and mix. Pick up the watered down paint with a small paint brush and flick over the sky area for some stars. Clean off Moon Mask and let this dry a few minutes.

Place open coordinating Moon Mask over the solid Moon area, and lightly ink in with Hickory Smoke Distress Ink. Remove mask and use a clean paper towel and smudge over the ink. Protect the sky area with paper towel and add the Moon Mask back to the solid area and lightly mist Empty Tomb Distress Mica Stain over the Moon area. Ink the edges of the card fronts with Hickory Smoke, and then dry thoroughly with a heat tool.

Place a piece of Specialty Stamping Paper (about 4 x 5 inches) in a Stamp Platform and the hat and pumpkin from Halloween Doodles and two moths from Moth Study to the paper. Close the lid to secure the stamps. Ink the stamps with Black Soot Archival Ink, and stamp the images a few times until the images are nice and crisp. Choose one of the moths and stamp it again, as you need three total. Dry the images with a heat tool as ink stays wet longer on SSP, and then cut all the images out.

Color in all the images using Distress Ink straight from the pad and a Detail Water Brush, and using the silicon mat as your palette. Note: I printed out images of real moths to use to help me decide which colors. I used Mustard Seed on the pumpkin, buckle, and moths, Carved Pumpkin on two of the moths and the pumpkin, and Hickory Smoke on the hat. You don't need to color in the stem of the pumpkin. Use a white gel pen to add more dots to the moth's wings. Ink the edges of everything with Gathered Twigs.

Cut a slit on the hat's brim between the front and back looking part about 1/2 inch. Slid the pumpkin into the slit and use Collage Medium to adhere the pumpkin in place. Cut the largest pumpkin face from the Halloween Remnant Rubs set and cut the eyes, nose, and mouth apart. Use a Rub Tool and rub the images onto the pumpkin's face.

Place the card front back into the Stamp Platform, and lay the pumpkin witch where you think it looks best. Add the magic sparkles to one side of the pumpkin and close the lid to secure the stamp. Remove the pumpkin, and then stamp the sparkles in Picket Fence Distress Ink, stamping them a few times for a nice crisp look, and then immediately pour Clear Embossing Powder over them, and heat emboss. Remove the sparkles stamp and place it on the other side of where the pumpkin would be and stamp in Picket Fence and heat emboss with clear powder.

Ink the edges of the card front with Hickory Smoke Distress Ink, and then mount on black cardstock cut to 4 7/8 x 6 3/8 inches with two sided tape. Mount this onto a Kraft Cardstock base cut to 5 x 6.5 inches when folded. Ink the edges of the card with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. On a thin strip of White Heavystock, rub on the words 'Halloween Magic Spell' from the Halloween Remnant Rubs. Cut around the words, ink the edges in Gathered Twigs, and mount onto Kraft. Cut around that and ink the edges. Add a colon (:) after the word 'spell' with a permanent marker. Add the 'No. 3' stamp from Moth Study to a small stamping block, and stamp onto a Label Sticker using Black Soot Archival. Add the 'No. 1' stamp to the block and only ink the '1', and stamp it next to the 3. Dry with a heat tool slightly, ink the edges of the label with Gathered Twigs and mount on Kraft, cut that out and ink the edges. Mount both the sentiment and number on the lower left side of the card with Collage Medium.

Using foam tape, mount the pumpkin witch to the card, but do not stick down the tip of the hat. Take a small jumpring and three pieces of string about four inches long each. Tie one end of each string to the jumpring, making knots. Trim off as much as you can of the end of the knot, and add Collage Medium to the back of the knots and then hook the jumpring to the tip of the hat, and press the jumpring down until the glue secures it. Add two sided tape to the back middle of each moth as well as a little bit of Collage Medium. Get one of the strings and stick the string to the back and then onto the card, doing the same with each moth and spreading them out to look like the moths are carrying the pumpkin witch. Trim off any excess string and curl the tip around if you can, and add a little Collage Medium to the string to hold the tips down.

Tim Holtz Stamptember 2021 - Magic of Christms Card

It's Simon Says Stamp Stamptember time!!! That means a super special stamp set from Tim Holtz and Stamper's Anonymous, and this Christmas fun set also comes with a mask and stencil! I adore this set and LOVE LOVE LOVE the Santa and Sleigh. I made a quick and fun card using the set and lots of Ranger ink goodies. Enjoy!

Cut White Heavystock to 4.75 x 6.25 inches for card front. Place the card front into the stamp platform, as well as the trees on the left side bottom, the cloud in upper right, and swirly stars right middle and secure by closing the lid. Rub anti-static pouch over card front. Stamp the images in Distress Embossing Ink, and then pour White Embossing Powder over and heat emboss. Stamp trees on sticky note and cut out for masking. Place mask on trees, and move tree stamp over to the right. Move cloud above left side trees, and remove the stars as you are finished with those. Close platform to secure. Stamp in Embossing Ink, remove mask,  and heat emboss with white powder. Save the mask for later. Remove all stamps, and then place Santa and sleigh stamp in upper left corner. Stamp in Black Soot Archival and heat emboss with Clear Powder. You can't see the white in the pic, but all the images are there and embossed.

Gather Moon Mask and place solid Moon Mask in upper left corner over the Santa and stick down with tape or Sticky Grid if need be. Ink over the moon and scene lightly with Speckled Egg Distress Ink with an Ink Blending Tool until a soft nice sky area is seen and now you can see where all the white embossing is. Remove the moon mask and place the open moon mask over the moon and ink in with the Speckled Egg, trying not to get any on Santa and the sleigh.

Add Prize Ribbon Distress Ink straight from the pad onto the silicon mat and lightly mist with water. Pick this up with the Broad Water Brush and color in all the sky area, being careful not to color in of the images. Do the same with the Speckled Egg pad coloring in the clouds, and the Iced Spruce Pad coloring in the trees. Use Distress Crayons to color in Santa, the sleigh, glove, bag and deer. Add some Rustic Wilderness to deepen the trees. Let this first layer dry a bit.

Use a detail gold paint pen to add gold trim to the sleigh and straps on the deer and bag. Add another darker layer of Distress Crayons to the images. Add another dark layer of Prize Ribbon over the sky area and get it as dark as you can.

Lay the Moon Mask and tree mask place and cover up the main parts of the sleigh and deer, and then lightly mist Snow Flurries Distress Mica Stain over sky area, after shaking it well. Clean off Moon Mask and let this dry a few minutes, and clean nozzle of Mica Stain. Lightly dry the card front with a heat tool.

Pounce an anti static pouch over the bottom right of the card to make this part cleaner and easier. Using the sentiment from the Stamptember Stamp Set, stamp it at the bottom right corner of the card front using Distress Embossing Ink and heat emboss with Gold Powder. Without covering anything up this time, lightly mist the whole card with Pearl Mica Spray. Dry slightly and then add two sided tape to the back.  Cut and fold a kraft card base to 5 x 6.5 inches. Cut gold Metallic Kraftstock to 4 7/8 x 6 3/8 inches and mount onto the kraft with two sided tape. Mount the card front to this with the tape. In the edges of the card with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.
