Wendy Vecchi Stencil Binder

Hello Crafty People! This month for the Wendy Vecchi Make Art Challenge, the April Challenge is to use her Archival ReInkers. Of course, I have all her colors on hand, and happen to have one of her Art Part Stencil Binders that was beckoning to be used. So I made this one to house all of my Studio 490 Stencils to take with me when I go out of town...so handy, so functional, so practical and now so beautiful.
I used Wendy's Splattered Plaster technique for the background of the binder, both sides. I also embossed the Vintage Lace Background Stamp at the bottom of each piece, using only half of the stamp, and then used Fern Green Embossing Powder.  Then I stamped the Script Background Stamp over parts of each cover. Sorry for the lack of photos, but somehow my camera did not save all the step out photos I took of making this. UGH!
To make the tag, I used Wendy's technique for Archival Ink/Rubbing Alcohol Background, using the Ranger Archival ReInkers...seriously a favorite technique. Then I embossed the Vintage Quilt with Gold Embossing Paste.
I did Wendy's technique for Faux Graniteware on the Mat Mini Pitcher. I stamped the rose on Specialty stamping paper, embossed it in Clear and colored it in with Distress Markers.
This is the only picture that was saved on my camera. I stamped Wendy's butterfly in Jet Black on the binder cover and again on packaging for a stencil. I cut in out inked it with Tim's Wild Honey Distress Ink, cut it out and layered it on the stamped butterfly on the cover. I also cut out the title pieces from the packaging, inked those and added them to the cover. Then I used a black and white gel pens to doodle on the cover.

I hope you join in on the challenge...so fun! And, if you get a chance to snag a Stencil Binder, do, because it makes housing your stencils so much easier. Now I'm off to go celebrate my birthday! WOOHOO!!!
