The Hat Makes The Man!!!

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I cannot help but laugh every time I look at this tag! I think it is hilarious!!! I can just hear my little man saying "How you do'n?" if he came to life!!! He was so fun to make...the most fun I have ever had making a tag! I couldn't stop giggling! Sometimes I look at him and see a stand up comic acting like a Rabi! I can just hear his disgustingly funny jokes! Hmmm....I think I need to get out of this house, because it's sort of sad that I am envisioning my tags coming to life to entertain me!!!
I made this funny guy for challenge 39 at the Everything Wendy Vecchi Yahoo Group. I am also submitting him to the Sunday Stamper challenge of "men" hubba hubba, and to the Simon Says Stamp & Show challenge of "anything goes".
I am so loving Dylusions Ink Sprays! Fun times!!!
I am doing the kiss so I have another tag for another occasion...fun I tell you!
More fun to combine all these fabulous stamped images.
Looks a bit like 'Jason'...bahahahaha!!!!
5 o'clock shadow...lololololol!!!!
Time to put it all together. Stop staring at me!!! ROFL!!!

I Believe In You Too!

I have loved Audrey Hepburn, ever since I first saw her in Roman Holiday, when I was young. I loved her style and sassiness, but her wardrobe was the bomb! She always looked like a princess. I even think my daughter sort of looks like her, so I gave her a large collection of Audrey's movies. Now we watch them together, and she is a fan as well.
When I saw this quote on Artistic Outpost's new release stamp set Quotes and Quoteables, I knew I had to make something depicting Audrey. Although this card is not grungy, but more on the shabby side, I think it embodies my style, but moreover Audrey's. The white millinery netting is probably my new favorite embellishment. If I had the guts and the lifestyle, I'd concoct a hat to wear to some posh event using it, and live like Audrey did in the movies. Who am I kidding...well...a girl can dream, right?
I stamped this in Distress Embossing Ink and embossed in Seafoam Embossing Powder.
Love love love this netting!!!
I stamped two different images from AO in Jet Black Archival Ink to make this background. I wanted a toile damask look.
I colored the roses in using Distress Markers and then covered them in Distress Stickles.  I printed an image of Audrey on the net and adhered her, then added some Prima crystals, along with my sentiment! I inked all the borders in Pumice Stone Distress Ink.

I am submitting this card to Lisa's Blogger Challenge of "black, white, and a splash of color".
