Ranger Stickles Paper Cut Bird Card

Hello Crafters! It's warming up, and I hope you all are finally getting some warmer weather too. Today, I have a quick post for another card (number four) made for the Ranger Ink booth at Creativation this year,  using yummy Stickles, but some of the older colors, as well as Tim Holtz's Paper Cut Bird Thinlit from Sizzix. It was super easy to make, and I hope you can see that you can totally use Stickles for the main medium on a project.
I added a piece of Adhesive Sheet to the back of a piece of Black Cardstock, and die cut the Paper Cut Bird, running it through about three times to make sure all the detail cuts were made perfectly since the paper was a tad thicker with the adhesive on it. Then I adhered the image onto a piece of Distress Heavystock...my go to...and then I filled in each and every part of the negative portions with neutral vintage looking colors of Stickles. Since the cardstock made borders for each portion the Stickles filled in nicely without getting on the black borders. So easy...just took a little time, and I always make sure to do this at night so that in the morning everything is dry...so no accidental finger pokes to see if things are dry. ;0) Then I mounted this on Metallic Cardstock, and then onto a card.
Supplies:
-Ranger Adhesive Strips and Sheet
-Ranger Surfaces: Black Cardstock
-Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations Thinlits Die: Paper Cut Bird
-Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Mixed Media Heavystock
-Ranger Stickles: Glisten, Sandstone, Cinnamon, Tidings, Golden Rod, Silver, Gold Dust, Sprinkled Sugar
-Tim Holtz Idea-ology Metallic Kraft Stock: Silver

I told you it was super easy! And, I'll be back again tomorrow with another card using Stickles as the main medium, but in another way. Until then...
I hope your hands get creatively dirty soon!
