Happy Easter Distress Paint Card

Hello and Happy Easter week everyone! Today, I have an Easter Card loaded with lots of Tim Holtz Distress Paint from Ranger, that was also featured in the Ranger booth at Creativation this year, and some wonderful Sizzix dies and coordinating crazy stamps from Tim and Stamper's Anonymous.  I wish you all the most blessed Easter and Holy week!
I added Distress Paint directly to the craft sheet, misted it with water, and dredged a piece of Distress Heavystock through it, and dried with a heat tool.
I did the same as above for a number 8 heavystock tag, except I used Peacock and Picket Fence.
I stamped the solid eggs with Distress Paint...using paint on stamps is the only time I clean my stamps, fyi.
I added paint in a small amount directly to an Ink Blending Tool Foam and stenciled in the splatters. When I was ready for a new color, I rinsed the old paint away from the foam with water, and began again.
I splattered more paint on everything using a water brush and picking paint up directly from the craft sheet. More on the bird below.
I used Picket Fence paint with the foam on (LOVE that we have a choice between the foam and flip tops!) and just made circles onto the tag. Then I misted the pieces with Distress Mica Sprays.
I stamped the bird twice, and all his parts and extra bits with Jet Black Archival onto Water Color Cardstock.
I painted in the bird with more Distress Paint and the detailed Water Brush. Painting with the water brush gives a watercolored look. Then I die cut all the pieces out, layered them up, and then splattered more paint on them.
I painted in some of the scroll work on the Mini Cabinet Card with Picked Raspberry, and inked over the edges.
I added Twisted Citron to the craft sheet, misted water in it, and dredged through Crinkle Ribbon. I dried it while crumpling it up, and tied a cheaters bow through the tag. Then I assembled all my piece on the card, and stitched around it two times.

Alcohol Ink #love Flower Card

I promised another Springy Alcohol Ink card, so I am back again this month. This card was also featured in the Ranger Ink booth at Creativation this year. Thanks for looking and for all the comments on the last card. Here's to flower LOVE!!!!
I stamped a piece of Tim's new Heavy Stock, cut to card size, with the Newsprint stamp from Tim and Stamper's Anonymous with Paradise Teal Archival. Then over that I stamped some of the Wildflowers with Wendy's Fern Green. I set this aside.
I covered a piece of the Translucent Yupo...cut same size as the Heavy Stock...with Pool Alcohol Ink using the Applicator. Then I eyeballed the stamp sizes of the flower parts I wanted to use, and tried to make patches on the card using the Alcohol Ink, by dripping it on. I let the yellow dry before doing the green, and let it run by turning the card on its sides.
I stamped the flowers onto the Alcohol Ink areas as best I could, and I love the way some parts don't match up...that's Art!
I used Adhesive Strips on the back sides of the Yupo and attached it to the Heavy Stock. The strips are not seen at all. I dripped on more Honeycomb and Sunshine Yellow, but this time much smaller. Then I drew stems for them using a white pen. I finished by sewing around the card, and stamping the sentiments.

Easter is right around the corner, so I'll be back soon! Until then, stop and smell the flowers!
