Love On St. Patrick's Day!

Happy happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! I LOVE this holiday, and all that it encompasses...the traditional and the commercial aspects. We do it up big at my house, and the family loves it.
The challenge for the month of March at the Make Art Challenge Blog (Wendy Vecchi Style) is using her stencils. I've made a tag and combined it with some Dyan Reaveley goodies as well, and some new Tim Idea-ology too.  I love how it came out. Wendy has awesome stamps!!!
I used Wendy's technique for Archival Ink and Rubbing Alcohol for the background. I LOVE this technique...it just makes my Archivals more valuable to me!
Next came stamping Megan and another gorgeous flower on Specialty Stamping Paper. I colored her with Distress Markers. I LOVE her!!!
I misted a little Tea Dye on the tag...love this color!
I stamped the sentiment on one of Tim's tickets from the new Emporium Ephemera Pack, after I white washed the ticket.
I love this Suits Stencil from Dyan...the Club/Clover is very cool stencil. I used Fern Green to ink it in.
I added Dyan's letters using Jet Black.
I stenciled on Wendy's Alphabets in Glacier White in the shamrock, and in Cracked Pistachio in the background...seriously my new favorite stencil, and it is going on everything lately... and stamped around the tag with Wendy goodies. I like that it has a dollar bill type style...don't you think??? I also added some new Idea-ology goodies. Ranger's Liquid Pearls finished it off.
I hope you join in on the challenge! Just use any of Wendy's stencils, take a photo and load it on your blog or pic site, and upload it to the challenge post! You can win some great goodies!

12 Tags of 2015 - March

Top of the morning to ya! It's almost St. Patrick's Day, so I thought I would do Tim's tag for March in green style...;0)!!! Hope you like it, and happy St. Pat's!!!
I used Mowed Lawn, Cracked Pistachio, Bundled Sage, Squeezed Lemonade, and Pumice Stone Distress Paint to create the background color.
Hearts make great shamrocks, so I stamped Tim's Love Struck Hearts four times in a circle, and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder from Ranger.
I LOVE the new Heartfelt Bigz Die with all the different sizes of hearts! I die cut the small thinner heart with Core-Dinations Kraft Core, inked them,  stitched them on, and folded them in half for extra dimension. I've seen lots of hearts done like this for Valentine's Day on several people's blog...so thanks so much for the inspiration Crafty Peeps!
I pretty much followed the rest of Tim's instructions except I added the same paints to the ribbon, and a few other Idea-ology pieces.

I have another St. Patrick's tag coming up soon, so please stay tuned. Happy Crafting!
