CC3C - Collection Folio

It's that time again...time for another challenge in the new Compendium of Curiosities III Challenge!!! Kudos to all the entrants and for all the comments!  Those of you that play along every time deserve a big round of applause, AND those of you who are new to the challenges deserve the biggest kudos! We welcome everyone, and look forward to seeing all the entries.   The Curiosity Crew and I always have our socks knocked off by all the wonderful work and we are so inspired as well!
This new challenge, number twenty-three is using the Collection Folio. These are seriously a cool product and changes the ordinary album into a 'look at me'! I am so looking forward to all the entries. Please play along so you can win some fabulous prizes donated by the ever generous Tim and Mario, and this challenge's sponsor, Inspiration Emporium!!! You will have two weeks to complete this challenge and link it up to the CC3Challenge site, and you can read all the rules here. Please take the time to visit every member of the Curiosity Crew (See below.) for not only some gorgeous folio inspiration, but for a chance to win some extra goodies!
I have no step out photos as this Collection Folio called "Life's A Beach" will be a class I am teaching.

I hope you play along with the challenge! You will have a different kind of album to treasure.

I hope your hands get creatively dirty soon!

12 Tags of 2015 - February

Oh the 12 Tags of 2015 from Tim Holtz!!! They make me so happy! I know you feel the same! I just loved the shabby chic way Tim added the Distress Paint around the paper...it makes such an impact. Here is my spin on his February tag using the new Cracked Pistachio!
Is is okay to be in love with a tag?!! I am, and these photos just do not do it justice! I really love the paint technique, and wrapping the wire around the arrow...genius!
I used papers from the Wallflower Stash and Tissue Tapes for the background, and then added Picket Fence, like he did, but I added Cracked Pistachio too.
I wanted just a hint of red, so I added Festive Berries to just the edges here and there. I also colored the Crinkle Ribbon with Cracked Pistachio and Tea Dye Distress Spray Stains.
