March always means green to me, I guess because of St.Patrick's Day and the start of Spring. So I was happy to create "green green" tags for a swap with the Ranger Ink Link Yahoo Group. So with a lot of green colored Ranger products and some repurposed items this is the tag I made.
I am also submitting this tag to Linda Ledbetter's Grungy Monday challenge of using Tim's technique of paint resist from the 12 Tags of Christmas 2007 Tag 2, as well as Hels Sheridan's Sunday Stamper challenge of "diamonds", and Inspiration Emporium's monthly challenge of "going green".

I wasn't sure if the green inks would show up on the green Prima packaging, but it did even if it was subtly in some spots. I misted with a color wash in some of those spots. It was a nice look. |

I stamped the Papillion background onto the tag in Peeled Paint, then wiped off the butterflies with a damp paper towel. |

I heat embossed the sentiment with Pine Needles Ink and Peeled Paint Distress Embossing Powder. |

I misted the sentiment with Meadow Color Wash then Perfect Pearls Mist for some added sheen. |
