A Craft Attitude Chocolate Box Valentine!!!

There are eight types of the Inkjet printable sheets of Craft Attitude, and each type has different directions for transferring the images. There is Decor, Flower, Jewelry, Magnet, Quilt, Scrapbooking, Shoe, and Wood Attitude. Today I am using Decor Attitude to alter a cigar box.

 

I wanted to make a Masterboard so I could have a background ready to go to make lots of different projects, BUT the beauty of using Craft Attitude is that I can use the Masterboard over and over again. I just have to print it out...genius stuff I tell you! If you make a gorgeous Gelli Print, and want to use it over and over again, then this is the stuff for you.  I started by pouncing Ranger's Alcohol Ink on Specialty Stamping Paper.

I stamped a background image using Archival Ink and Tim Holtz's Stamper's Anonymous Valentine Seasonal Catalog.

I used Cupid from the Love Struck set and stamped it using Gold Paint Dabber.  My Masterboard is complete.

I took the sharpest photo I could of the whole Masterboard, and printed it off on the Decor Craft Attitude using my Ink Jet Printer. Since I had writing on it, I had to print it in the Mirror Setting so that the writing could be read correctly. I printed several sheets so I could use these for other projects as well. Talk about a HUGE time saver!

I slattered Glue N Seal on Foil Cardstock from Ranger, and removed the backing from the Decor Attitude. I laid it on the Cardstock and smoothed out all the wrinkles. The Decor Attitude is transparent, so the foil shines through. I am in LOVE!

The colors came out just as bright as my original Masterboard. Have I mentioned I LOVE this stuff?!?

I just love cigar boxes to alter into something great.

I lined the inside of the box with a piece of the Decor Attitude, and used Tissue Tape for the edges.

I wanted texture on the outside of the box, so I dry embossed Tim's Swirls Texture Fade from Sizzix. I silver foil peeking through was wonderful. I love that this stuff is embossable.

I adhered the embossed Decor Attitude to the box, and lined it with Tissue Tape.

I used more of the Decor Attitude to make roses! I adhered it to Wendy Vecchi's Clearly For Art, and then die cut it with the 3D Flowers Bigz Die. I shaped them with my Heat Tool. These were so addicting! I made so many roses and rosettes. I LOVE this stuff! It made this so easy!

I added wooden feet, lace, and embellishments!
