New Holiday Collection Stamps - April

Hello crafters! Here are some samples from my new Holiday Collection Stamp Series, for the month of April, from WeCraft. I just received the stamps, so I'm sorry they are too late for Easter for this year, but you can keep them in mind for next, or use them for Spring. The April, May, and June sets are available now in select stores in Texas, and online at WeCraft.  I sure had fun doing Easter cards again...lol! I hope you all like them, and a big thanks again for all the support and encouragement on this new endeavor. I'm learning as I go...from drawing the images, scanning them, coloring them, and then having them produced, it's takes a lot more time than I thought it would...so much goes into it all. I'm just so thankful for all of it!
April Set - 9 Images
All the samples are made with Tim Holtz Distress Mixed Media Heavystock, Metallic Cardstock, Archival Inks, Distress Inks, Distress Markers,  Cotton Thread, and Kraft Cardstock from Ranger, and all stamped with Tim's Stamping Platform. For the Rejoice card, I stamped the lillies three times in Black Soot Archival, watercolored them in with Distress Inks, and added dots to the stamens with Wendy Vecchi Enamel Accents. The background is more Distress Ink, and followed by a light misting of Wendy's Buttercup Mica Spray.
This was such fun to make. After stamping in Archival, I watercolored the peeps in with Distress Ink, and then covered with Frosted Lace Stickles...perfect for the peeps look I think. I added more Enamel Accents to the eyes and noses.
I die cut the heavystock with the smallest oval from Tim's Sized Ovals Movers & Shapers from Sizzix, and stamped the images on them so they look like decorated eggs. I watercolored them all, and added the grass die cut from the Tapered Fringe Strip Die. After watercoloring the eggs, I sealed them with Distress Micro Glaze, and then flicked the spots on them, and added a mist of Mica Spray.
I stamped the Rejoice word all over the background using Watermark Resist. I die cut the gold cardstock with the Stacked Baroque Thinlet, and then embossed with the Star Bright Texture Fade. I highlighted the stars with Walnut Stain Archival. The eggs were made just like the above card.

Here are the May and June sets.

Thanks for stopping by everyone. I'm off to finish up the rest of the samples for May and June.

I hope your hands get creatively dirty soon!

  1. I love those lilies with the simple "rejoice" sentiment! I wish I was more of a stamper/colorer as these look like lots of fun to play with. I'm so proud of you for stepping into this new venture, and wish you all the luck in the world, my friend! It is such a big undertaking!
