Hi everyone! You all probably think I've fallen off the Earth, and really I have...creatively speaking that is. I haven't crafted a thing since Italy...YIKES!!! The family and the approaching holidays have kept me EXTREMELY busy! I haven't even been able to visit blogs, which you all know I love to do. I am deeply sorry that I haven't been around, and will try try try as soon as Thanksgiving is over.
I stole away an hour though last night between pies a bak'n to make my November tag to play along with Tim's 12 Tags of 2013.
I followed all of Tim's steps for the tag, and then found some leaves in my yard that needed a new life. |
Supplies:
I hope your hands get creatively dirty soon!
A gorgeous take on Tim's tag, love the fall feeling. You're right, it's really a busy time these days.
ReplyDeleteDon't apologise Anita. Getting the balance right in life is darn near impossible at times and whenever you post something it's always worth the wait. I love your design for this tag and the addition of the leaves adds that perfect extra colour. Happy Thanksgiving. Jenny x

I had indeed begun to think that you had decided to return to Italy as we had not heard a peep out of you! Great that you managed to steal a moment to join in the monthly tags instead of MAKING & BAKING! Love the tag, mine is not one of my most successful but I was creating with what I had....I'm on an economy drive Ha Ha Ha :-) guess we all know what that means, there are always craft things you want and only so many that you can sneak into the basket under husbands nose :-(. Happy thanksgiving Anita.

ReplyDeleteSo jealous that you have colored leaves in your yard! Ours just turn brown and fall off the trees and every leaf in a 10 mile radius ends up at my front door! Love your tag, how you framed the one large image with the smaller ones. Very clever there, my friend! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Safe travels.

ReplyDeleteYes, no apologies please - I've also fallen off the blog-visiting bandwagon lately... still chasing my tail to catch up with myself after the big house move. I think it's great that you've been spending time with family and getting ready for more festive celebrations. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteAs for the tag - I love it - I'm going to miss the Autumn crafting - all those leaves are fabulous!
Alison xx
Hey Anita. So good to hear from you. I'm alot like you've been lately....so busy that I'm meeting myself coming and going. :) Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a sweet message. Right now, I'm in the middle of kitting two large classes that I was supposed to teach this weekend in Branson but with this really big winter storm moving in, we postponed them until next weekend. I can take a breath and kit at a little slower pace...a good thing! I hope all is well with you and your family and that you had a blessed Thanksgiving! <3 Candy
ReplyDeleteHey, Anita, your tag is so beautiful as always. Miss you and your creations.
ReplyDeleteFabulous tag Anita, I love the chalkboard effect! Hope you're back to crafting soon. Hugs, Chris.
ReplyDeleteI know I won't make Santa's nice list this year, so asking for these stamps is out of the question, but I will tell you what...what you do with them ensures that I'll just go buy them myself and hope for the best with Santa next year! ;)
ReplyDeleteAWESOME job Anita...your work always take me away to a super crafty place, full of warmth, smiles, creativity and happiness!
Done unpacking now so I hope not to miss any posts from you. Hope this finds you doing okay. Think of you often and wishing you the very best. I've truly enjoyed spending my time on your blog just looking and learning.
hugs,
Lisa x
