When I first read the challenge instructions, and saw that we were to use 10, I knew instantly that I would use this card that I created for Artistic Outpost a few months ago, because I distinctly remembered counting 10 of these pencils as I was stamping them.  I haven't shown this card yet, so I thought this would be perfect. The photo is an original I picked up somewhere along the creative way. I wonder who she is.
Lucille Ball was hilarious! She was a comedic legend and a real class act. I Love Lucy was my favorite show as a child...they just don't make them like they used to. I love this quote from her, and AO nailed it by including it as well as so many other great quotes on their new release stamp set from March, Quotes & Quoteables. The other fabulously vintage images are on the other new release set from March as well,  Secretary Pool...appropriate name, and I just love the phone and typewriter image!
I adhered the G45 paper to a kraft card and cut one side a little longer to use as the flap.
I stamped the letter head image on the front of the card in Adirondack Earthtones Latte.
I stamped the phone in Jet Black Archival, and all the others in Adirondack Earthtones Pesto. I traced over the sentiment in Glaze Pens for added depth, as well as the pencil tops.

This is the back.

Dream A Little Dream

This month at the Creative Block - Stamper's Anonymous Yahoo Group the monthly tag swap challenge is "Dream A Little Dream With Me" while using a 3D main stamped image. The challenge was based on Tim's tutorial of  Stamp2Cut. Several members of the group where gifted this Winged Thing stamp for participating last month, so I thought I would use the same image.
I am also submitting this tag to the Sunday Stamper challenge of "Men", The Blogger's Challenge "For The Men", and Simon Says Stamp & Show's challenge of "A Bit Of Brown".
I die cut a tag out of Tim's patterned paper, and covered it in Gesso both back and front to add stability and texture.
I covered the tag in Rock Candy Distress Crackle.
I used Distress Stain and Distress Ink to fill in the cracks with color. I stamped the word dream with Vermillion Archival Ink.
The image was stamped in Jet Black Archival and colored in with Dylusions Ink Sprays that were in Water Brushes. I cut the image apart and layered it upon itself.
Colored seam binding is used for the ribbon, and I adhered the image with foam tape for depth. The K was stamped in Vermillion and the heart I colored in myself.

Supplies:
From My Stash: ivory cardstock, K stamp
