A Krafty Manly Layout

Happy happy happy Monday "KRAFTERS"!!! Simon Says Stamp & Show DT member Sandra wants to see some "Kraft" this week! From paper to stickers or even chipboard, any loose interpretation of kraft is welcome here. This would be a great challenge to break out the Ranger Inkssentials Kraft Tags, or some of Tim’s Chit-Chat Stickers, or even some plain chipboard or corrugated cardboard. Even a grocery bag made of kraft brown paper would be awesome! The krafty field is wide open, and it is up to you to decide how and what you’ll make this week.
Are you shocked to see a scrapbook page? I was shocked to make one..actually two...but since Father's Day just rolled around and I was asked to design a layout for a few classes, I thought this challenge would be perfect to combine with it.
Besides the regular kraft paper, there is corrugated kraft paper here too, which makes the best texture ever! I just love all of these Tim and Wendy manly stamps with Wendy's sentiment.

This is another variation I did in all metallics.
If you are like me, and love vintage style Art and crafting, then I know you have Kraft paper items lying around. Make a project with them, and then enter it into our challenge. You just might be the lucky winner of a $50 voucher to Simon Says Stamp. You can also be named as one of the "Top Three Picks" for this challenge. Good luck, and don't forget to check out the other Design Team member's blogs and see what KRAFT they've made this week. There are some absolute beautiful makes!

Dylusional Fun Fall???

First, thank you for all the comments yesterday...WOW!...and welcome to my new followers!  Thank you so much everyone! You made me cry lots, blush too, and laugh so hard. I felt like it was the best birthday party ever! I've replied to those I could get a hold of, but to those I couldn't, please know I truly am blessed by your words! Be sure to check back tomorrow to see who gets the loot!

I occasionally get the personal nice email about a project I've made, but after the Choose To Shine At School Layout I made last week, which was the first layout I've done in two years, I was swarmed with them...15 in total, and have even been asked to teach some classes...WOW! It filled me with joy to the max, that so many of you took the time to tell me your thoughts, and it seems that every single one of you loved the Scrap-booking/Art Journal combo, and that it was unique to you. I'm sure there are many people out there who already incorporate Art Journaling into their scrapping, but it's new to me, and to some of you, so I've decided to do many more...every once in a while anyway...and call it Artful Scrapping! Now maybe I can get some long overdue albums completed, after all, scrap-booking is what got me started doing paper craft. So, thank you for your wonderful emails and comments!
Here is a layout I will teach in a couple of weeks. Since there are so many leaves in this outdoor scene...hehehe...I am submitting this to Simon Says Stamp & Show's challenge for "Leaf-spiration", and to the Artistic Stamper Creative Team Blog challenge for "The Natural World".

Choose To Shine...At School!

***One more week until my 1st Blogiversary and a major giveaway to one of you!

No heckles or jeckles please! I know what you are thinking...."Scrap-booking?" Yes, and long over due! It was one of my Creative Resolutions...to get back to doing some very overdue layouts. I don't want my kids to start having kids before I finish their school scrapbooks.  Aside from coloring in books, scrap-booking opened the door to my paper crafting about 16 years ago, and I'm only about 5 years behind!
I've not added pictures yet to this, as it will hold the photos from this school year for my daughter. She has entered the land of Jr. High. Help me!!! She loves it though, and that makes me so happy!
Using the Graphic 45 ABC Primer papers, I misted Dylusions Ink Spray.
Dylusions Stencils and more Ink Spray were used on top.
Dylusions stamps using the Letters and Numbers were stamped in Archival.
More stamping, this time using Border images, then highlighting them with a white pen and Dylusions Ink Spray inside of water brushes. Then I stamped the girl and house images onto Specialty Stamping Paper and colored them in with the water pens and Distress Markers. Two G45 borders were added as well.

I am conveniently (;D) submitting this to Inspiration Journal's monthly challenge of "ABC 123 School Time Fun", the Sunday Stamper's challenge of "Masks/Stencils", and the challenge at Simon Says Stamp & Show is "For The Love Of Sparkle".
