Hello and happy November! The year is certainly flying by. Well, instead of a summer wedding, I just attended the Autumn wedding of a couple who are like my own children. It was beautiful and I am so happy for them. I made this card for their happy day, and thought I'd share it, as it's loaded with
Ranger and
Tim Holtz goodies. Hope you enjoy.
Onto the craft sheet, I dabbed on Picket Fence, Antique Linen, and Brushed Pewter Distress Paints, misted with water, and dredged watercolor cardstock through. Then I dried it. |
I stamped the Love definition over and over the cardstock with Hickory Smoke Distress Archival Ink. |
I added Worn Lipstick and Victorian Velvet Distress Paints on the craft sheet, added water, mixed them a little, and then swiped only the top edge of the cardstock in, and let the paint run down. I let it dry. |
Onto a heavystock tag, I dredged the same pink mixture from the last step, onto the tag, and let it dry. |
I stamped the doily images onto Plain Tissue wrap with Antique Linen Distress Paint, several times while overlapping. I let it dry. |
I stamped the bride onto heavystock and on the doily images with Jet Black Archival. I cut them both out, and adhered the tissue bride onto the cardstock bride, with Multi Matte. Now her dress is laced. |
I painted in the rest of bride with Distress Paint and a detailed waterbrush. |
Taking the dried pink tag, I die cut the roses, and rolled them up, and made leaves from dark green cardstock. |
I adhered crinoline and then roses on top of that. To finished I mounted the card on Metallic cardstock, and added the sentiment. |
I'll be back soon! Until then, love the ones you have deeply!!!
