15 and Ready To Drive

Before I get going, I just want to say thank you all for following me and taking the time to make all of those wonderful comments! I have reached 100 followers!!!!!!!! I still can't believe it! I am in awe that people would even care about what I create, and that all of you are so talented and would even care to look. Thank you from the bottom to the top of my heart!
My first born has turned 15...oh my word, I don't like it! I miss those tiny baby feet, those sweet cooing sounds, the smell of baby lotion on his soft, sweet head. Oh the way he would rub my cheek when I fed him. Sigh! But alas, he is growing up, and is very eager to drive. A permit is now seen in his wallet, and every day he asks to be my chauffeur...I like that part! Here is the card I made for my 'Sonshine'.
Isn't this stamp set perfect for a beginning driver??? This is the background of the card. I also altered the date from 1779 to 1997...perfect that is worked that way! I was so excited to give him this card, and he just loved it and gave me a huge hug! I am sure he will treasure it always!

Supplies:
Uchida Marvy: red pigmented marker
From My Stash: white, blue, and kraft cardstock, snaps

Februay ATC's Received!

YAY ME!!! I received my swapped out ATC's for February from the All Things Tim Yahoo Group and from the Creative Block- Stamper's Anonymous Yahoo Group. Now I am working on my March swaps...can't wait to to give and receive. If you have never swapped and enjoy getting other crafter's work, then give it a whirl...it's so wonderful and fun!!!

From CBSA:
From Karen Brown (Bingo!!! This was clever, and all the different stamped images were perfectly stamped and flow excellently together...so fun!)
From Susan Salyer (A stunning true to life vintage Valentine...awesome!)
From Sandy A. (This is a cereal box people!!! Can you believe it? I throw my empty ones away, but no more! The thickness is perfect, and just look at what she created on it! WOW!!! Super clever and masked and misted beautifully!)
And...here is mine for the CBSA Yahoo group again.

From ATT:
From Susan Kesselman (Vintage lovlienss at it's best...awesome embossed texture!)
From Donna Jean Eno (So shiny and the ruffled tissue tape was an excellent addition...loved the shine!)
From Claudine Criner (The background rocks and the texture wonderful...loved the images!)
From Pamela Preston (I'm so sorry I couldn't photograph this well...I tried 2o times to get a picture, but it kept ended up hazy.) (The thickness of this was awesome and the rose felt like thin wood sheets...fabulous!)
And...here is mine again for the ATT group.
