Rosey Liquid Pearls Card

I'm back with the other Ranger Liquid Pearls card from Creativation this year. This one took a bit more time, but I love the romantic look of it. Thanks for all the love on the other cards. Enjoy!
I added a little Baby Blue Liquid Pearls to the craft sheet, and misted water in it. I mixed that up, and spread it onto the Mixed Media Cardstock lightly with a palette knife.
Once dry, I laid portions of the Roses Layering Stencil from Tim Holtz, over the card, and used a Mini Ink Blending Tool to dab on Rouge and Juniper Liquid Pearls from my craft sheet through the stencil. I repeated until I had roses and leaves along the borders of the card, leaving the center alone.
I used Coral and Petal Pink Liquid Pearls straight from the bottle to outline and fill in the roses. I used Ivy Green and Garden to do the same to the leaves. I let all this dry. I die cut a medium oval from Tim and Sizzix, and stamped the sentiment from Stuff to Say from Tim and Stamper's Anonymous with Rose Madder Archival Ink. I died the ribbon with Worn Lipstick Distress Spray Stain, and cut it into two pieces. I tied a large knot at each end, and threaded it through holes on each end of the oval, and secured them around the back of the card with adhesive strips. I punched four maple leaves, colored them with Ivy Green Liquid Pearls and adhered them to the card on each side of the ribbon. After layering the card on a cardstock base, I made a border around the oval with Rose Gold and White Opal Liquid Pearls, and added these to a few more spots on the roses and leaves.
I'll be back soon with two more cards from Creativation and Ranger using Stickles, and I've got back to back posts this week.  See you soon!

Choose To Shine Liquid Pearls Card

Hello All! Thanks for stopping by and visiting, especially today on my birthday, and Earth Day! Whoop whoop!!! I have the first of two cards that were in the Ranger booth at Creativation this year, highlighting Liquid Pearls, a fav product of mine that really ups the level and flair of a project. Hope you like it!
I spread a thin layer of Rose Gold Liquid Pearls onto Mixed Media Cardstock with a palette knife, and let that dry. I embossed it with the Latticework Texture Fade from Tim Holtz and Sizzix. I inked the edges of the girl with Vintage Photo Distress Ink, and then used a detailed waterbrush and Rose Gold Liquid Pearls to wash over her hat, dress, and ballet shoes. I also inked over the Crinkle Ribbon with Vintage Photo and misted water on it, and crinkled it up to dry. I ran Tarnished Brass Distress Paint around the edges of the Quote Chip.
I rubbed the Black Soot Archival Pad over the raised portions of the card that I embossed, and let that dry. I mounted the card onto the Rose Gold Cardstock and then onto a Kraft card base. I filled in portions of the embossed card with Onyx, Pewter, and Gold Pearl Liquid Pearls. Once dried, I adhered the girl on, and affixed the ribbon. I added the Quote Chip last.
Thanks for all the commenting on my sample cards...I appreciate all of you so very much! Mwah!
