Color Burst Easter Tray

Hello again! Today, I have a project that I made for the NAMTA show using lots of Ken Oliver's Color Burst, a 7 Gypsies Tray, Tim Holtz and Ranger products, and tons of Easter goods from my stash. The truth is that since I've been demoing Color Burst several times now, I've created quite a collection of backgrounds, and so that is what I used to make each of the ATC's in the tray...waste not!

Once I had all the backgrounds adhered in, I just started throwing stuff in...seriously! I added Ranger Liquid Pearls to the Kaiser Crafts Wooden Eggs. The tray was covered in Gesso, dried, and then I mixed a few colors of Color Burst together and added a tiny bit of water to make a thick water paint and then I painted it on. Once it dried, I rubbed Crackle Accents on it with my finger. The metal corner pieces were done the same way, and I used Color Burst to color the ribbon as well. It's such a versatile medium!
Okay...that's it for this week. Happy happy Easter everyone. I hope you all have a wonderful and fulfilling holiday.

I hope your hands get creatively dirty soon!
