12 Tags of 2015 - September

Hello!!! Nothing like waiting until the last minute to post my September tag for Tim's 12 Tags of 2015! I haven't even been able to blog in a long time. I've literally been extraordinarily busy designing holiday classes and teaching. It's a great thing, don't get me wrong...I LOVE my job...but the blog has suffered. I apologize for not being able to visit you as well. I will try to get back on track.
I LOVE the background of this tag...Alcohol Ink is truly one of my favorite mediums, but my leaves got lost on here. I think I should have used Jet Black Archival instead.
It was hard to narrow down which colors I would use. I LOVE the Gold Mixative though...it really transforms the background!
I have been flecking everything lately, and Alcohol Ink flecks are easy to do with a paint brush.
I used more gold...Tarnished Brass Distress Spray Stain, for the base tag. I love the shimmer.
A favorite stamp of mine every Autumn. I love the veins in the leaves.
I decided to add a little more metal, and give the wire a little spiral action.

Thanks for looking and commenting! I will try to get by and visit everyone soon!

Autumn and Halloween Classes

Happy first day of September everyone! Autumn will be upon us soonish, and I can't wait as it's my favorite season! I LOVE all the colors, the holidays, the food, the candy, the cooler days, and the warmer clothing! And, I love all the art projects associated with it, and here are three of the projects I am teaching during the season, using lots of new product just released.

1. Autumn and Halloween Vertigo Tags using lots of Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko, Sizzix, Stamper's Anonymous, and Tim Holtz Idea-ology products.

2. The Autumn Splendor Flip Frame, with 13 mixed media pages full of Autumn, Halloween, and Thanksgiving images made from Ranger, Wendy Vecchi, Idea-ology, Sizzix, Stamper's Anonymous, and Ken Oliver's Color Burst.

3. The Cryptic Candy Box, an altered Halloween candy keeper, made from tons of Idea-ology, Sizzix, and Ranger goodness.

My first stop is The Crafty Scrapper in Waxahachie, Texas, in September. For more information on the classes, or where else I am teaching please email me, or check out my calendar.

I hope your hands get creatively dirty soon, and if that's with me in a class, then I whole heartedly thank you!!!
