Chunky ATC Swap

Over at the Everything Wendy Vecchi Yahoo Group, there is a Chunky ATC Swap going on this month, and I decided to participate in it. I am to give to Wanda, and Eileen is to give to me.
Well, Eileen was an early bird, and I received mine really quickly, although the mailman tried to hide it amongst the flowers on the porch. I was super excited to see her creation, and I was so not disappointed. It's way cool and so gorgeous, and there are so many elements that were used. I love the metal and faux leather, and all the brightly colored florals and pearl feet! It has a wonderful contrast between feminine and masculine, which I totally love. It's just beautiful Eileen! Thank you so much!!!
As for Wanda's ATC, let's just say I was very nervous. I wanted it to be perfect for her. We emailed several times before I formulated my plan of attack. She loves nature, flowers, butterflies, and the like, so I decided to create a zany and whimsical Mother Nature whose hair blows in the wind. I hope Wanda likes it. (No tut here, because it's basically the same as The Artful Maven Chunky ATC from the other day.)

For Wanda:

From Eileen:

Supplies:
From My Stash- wood, bright floral fabric, leaf ribbon, hinges, nails

I hope your hands get creatively dirty soon!

  2. Anita, I am always blown away by your creativity, but THIS is unbelievably AWESOME!! The detail is amazing, I just keep going back to oogle it some more. Those glittery glasses are the perfect touch. It's always about the details with you and you have really gone above and beyond with this project. Wow!!

  4. Anita, she's awesome. She's got that "Don't mess with Mother Nature" stance. The spool arms and the Dame Edna sparkly glasses are inspired. Love the leaf vine entangled in her flowy hair...wonder who she blames if she's having a bad hair day :)
The chunky you received is also a treat. Love those big flowers and the decorated sides. So fun.
