A Mother's Day Tag

Mother's Day is this weekend, and while I have the Mom's in my life covered, there is one more I can't forget...my best friend, who is second mother to my own children.  I wanted to make her a tag, and with all the challenges out there, I decided to combine four of them for this tag. At Hels Sheridan's Sunday Stamper, the challenge is "browns & blues" (I used the new Peacock Feathers Distress Ink). At Linda Ledbetter's Compendium of Curiosities II Challenge, the technique is "faded layers". Sarah Engels-Greer's Mojo Monthly challenge is "floral frenzy". And then of course there is the "celebrating Mom" challenge at Lisa Somerville's Blogger's Challenge.

Supplies:

I hope your hands get creatively dirty soon!

  8. What a gorgeous tag. First, your color choices are so rich...then all those fabulous layers. The more I looked at it, the more I saw. The metal flowers are amazing....but I love the butterflies best...subtle texture and stamping, perched with their wings partly open....dreamy!
